The Cosy Menu
As the evening draws in, settle in with The Cosy Menu. From 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, enjoy 2 courses for 16.95 or 3 courses for 19.95. It’s all about those winter-warming plates. Think proper Sausages & mash, classic Steak frites, or a fragrant Keralan curry. Whether you’re catching up or just dodging the commute, it’s even better with a pint of JW Lees in hand.
Wine Wednesday
Halfway through the week is always a good time to enjoy a special treat (plus a little extra in your glass from us). Every Wine Wednesday when you order two large glasses of wine, we’ll give you the rest of the bottle on the house. It’s a perfect way to elevate that midweek get together with great company and hot food, all in the welcoming atmosphere of our family friendly pub.
SUNDAY LUNCH
Sunday is a day of roast. Our roasts come with bottomless gravy and unlimited Yorkshire puddings (because one Yorkie is never enough and good gravy should never run out). Nothing truly beats a proper Sunday lunch, and it’s even better without the bother of cooking and cleaning. Sit back, relax and tuck into our traditional Sunday roasts, served with all the trimmings.

Time for a game on the shuffleboards? £10 for an hour, or £6 for 30 minutes. Book your table in advance. £10 per table booking payment required.

If your journey takes you further south toward Preston or Chorley, the Halfway House is another great spot to keep in mind. Located in Clayton-le-Woods, it is a proper community pub with a big focus on quality food and a friendly atmosphere. Like us, they have plenty of room for families and are always ready with a well-kept pint of JW Lees ale, making it an ideal place to pull into if you are on the road.
